Back in May of last year, micro-stompbox designers Hotone brought out a tiny Wah Wah pedal called Soul Press. This three in one wah, volume and expression pedal proved to be a hit with the budget (and footprint) concious guitarist so Hotone took the initiative and created two new ‘Press’ class pedals.
Debuting at this year’s NAMM show, Vow Press and Bass Press joined Soul Press to create a new range. Both new pedals are similar in form with slightly different functionality and paint jobs: Bass Press (as you might expect) is the Soul Press optimised for bass guitar; and Vow Press swaps the Expression mode in Soul Press for a new Volume / Wah combination mode which sounds like a lot of fun…
